İlknur Melis Durası was born and raised by her family in Istanbul where she also started to be in the field of science pursuing her passion towards curiosity when she took Biological Sciences and Bioengineering Program in Sabancı University in her college years. She graduated with honors and started to build her name in the scientific endeavor. Not until, she tried to be in a different dimension showcasing her whole physical being in heels with poise and a lot of projection.
